The people of Cuba have been mobilizing since Thursday, February 14, with the collection of signatures to support Venezuela and its constitutional president, Nicolás Maduro, besieged by the United States and threatened with an organized military intervention from Washington.

The solidarity action on the island is promoted by the mass organizations, work centers and associations of the Caribbean nation, under the slogan: "No to intervention in Venezuela and peace for Venezuela, Solidarity with Maduro and his people."
