Gustavo Rodríguez Rollero, Minister of Agriculture, toured the stands of business groups and entities in this sector, during the last days of the International Fair of Havana, 2018, where the best examples of the development reached in each of the branches. In all the business groups he was interested in the fulfillment of the productions that are destined for export, as this is the expeditious way for the entry of foreign currency and source for the capitalization of technologies, machinery and the acquisition of inputs.

He visited the exhibition areas of the companies Cítricos Caribe SA, Frutas Selectas, Acopio, the agribusiness Ceballos and Victoria de Girón, and in the stand of the Agricultural Group, to which the aforementioned entities are integrated, learned of the advances in the diversification of the Company Agroindustrial of Grains South of the Jíbaro, which produces with the best yields of the country the rice like fundamental crop, but has an ample portfolio that goes from the harvest of vegetables and fruits, happening through its industrialization and the preparation of sausages, smoked and meat , which are essentially for sale to tourism. The head of the sector, praised the entrepreneurship of the directors of the entity, some of which warned of the obstacles they face with packaging, including cans to pack their latest product: spam, which has excellent quality. With the purpose of helping to unlock the obstacles that impede this process, Gustavo Rodríguez spoke with the executives of the Logistics Group of the Ministry of Agriculture, and aimed to find solutions that make viable the productive processes in entities with this value...
