On the 28th of June, the 1st National IT Security Event GELMA 2018 concluded, which took place within the framework of the zonal ICT meeting, with good participation.

The event was attended by computer security specialists, network administrators, representatives of national companies and the ICT Management Department of OSDE Gelma.

The event was held in three areas, with the provinces of Pinar del Río, Sancti Spíritus and Santiago de Cuba as headquarters.

The following topics were treated:

1. Technological Trends in Information Technology and Communications for 2018.
2. Presentation of the Computer Security Course for users and managers of Gelma.
3. Infrastructure of Public Key (Public Key Infrastructure).
4. Analysis of Logs.
5. Updated methodology for the preparation of Computer Security Plans (Computer Security Management)
6. Main vulnerabilities in our networks and how to solve them.
7. Security of the Networks.
8. Virtualization of private networks for the Versat-Sarasola financial accounting system.
9. Computer Security and Internal Control.

Collateral activities were carried out for each zone; in the east we visited the Santa Ifigenia Cemetery, where a tribute was paid to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro and a floral offering was deposited to the national hero José martí, in the central zone the museum of the fight against bandit in the city of Trinidad and in West we visited the Malagones in the town of Viñales.

The meeting ends with the call for the 2nd National IT Security Event Gelma 2019.

On the second day, the National Infocommunications Meeting was held, conducted by the ICT Management Office, where important topics for the continuity and development of computerization in the MINAG Logistics Business Group were discussed, deepening the progress and fundamental deficiencies.
