The Agriculture System is moving towards effective communication

On Friday, May 25, the National Workshop on Institutional Communication, Documentary Management and Information Technology of the Ministry of the Agriculture System that met since the 23rd, leaving tools and knowledge in the hands of its participants to achieve better results in their work.

Three fundamental aspects for the development of the work of communicators, computer scientists and archivists were addressed during this workshop: institutional communication, computerization and document management, related to each other to share information and knowledge among the representatives of all the entities of the sector.

Luis Montero Mustelier expressed during his speech what has advanced the system of agriculture in computerization with a systematic work and the commitment of managers and workers, leading him today to lead the activity in the country. On the other hand, he stressed that there is still much to be done, prepare well in these three tasks and the need for each of those present is intransigent with the wrong done. The Implementation of the Social Communication Policy of the State and the Cuban Government was also discussed.

Armando Miralles Calvo Director of Organization, Planning and Information of the Minag spoke about what is happening in agriculture after carrying out a long process of institutional improvement. It is a diverse and complex organization, in which approximately 900 thousand people work, representing almost 20% of the country's economically active population. The Agriculture System brings together three systems in turn: state budgeted with 1.1%, corporate 33% and cooperative 65.5%, explaining the structure of each system in question.

Topics of interest for those present were developed that allow the enrichment for future messages in a clear and correct manner and answer concerns in an appropriate manner, based on updated knowledge of the structure and characteristics of the sector.

The participants expressed their satisfaction with the Workshop and the need to continue meetings like this, with more time to facilitate the development of skills in some of the tools presented in the short term.
