In the UEB 26 of July of the Company of Agricultural Workshops of the Business Group was officially received the delivery of a special donation of the Government of India. With the presence of the Deputy Minister of Agriculture Idael Pérez Brito and the Ambassador of India His Excellency Mr. Tsewang Namgyal. The donation is valued at 5 million dollars, it is composed of 60 tractors, in addition to other agricultural implements.

In his words of thanks the Deputy Minister of the sector said that this donation will further boost the cooperative relations in the agricultural sector between both countries, likewise offered the gratitude on behalf of the Government of Cuba, the workers of the Ministry of Agriculture, the peasants and the people in general. For his part, His Excellency Mr. Tsewang Namgyal, affirmed in his words the intention to continue strengthening ties of solidarity, expressed that soon with the materialization of a donation of USD 1 million referring to medicines and medical equipment and a cash donation for the recovery of Hurricane Irma, the bonds of friendship and progress between the two countries will be reaffirmed, then expressed gratitude to each of the managers, technical specialists who in some way collaborated in the addition of these teams, underlining the attention and interest In the training, he finally pointed out that both his government and the Sonalika Traactors group, who was in charge of the donation this time, will be aware of each of the particularities of support and cooperation needed in order to continue assisting the development of Agriculture in Cuba.
