The holder of the Agriculture Gustavo Rodriguez Rollero, declared in Bayamo that the sector advances in Granma, and has many tasks ahead to do, and consolidate in order to self-supply of agricultural products.

That means offering more food in the squares, and continue to advance in all other branches such as rice, livestock, and coffee, because its characteristics is an important province for the country, said Rodriguez Rollero.

He added that this is why the state and peasant producers of that region are asked more, given the productive potential of their lands, the availability of water, and the culture of their usual forces and cooperatives.

The Minister of Agriculture said that in Granma there are efforts, there are results, but it is necessary to move faster, according to the technological improvements that continue in favor of recovering the economy.
